Ethan Butler is a research analyst in the Quantitative Supervision and Research group. Prior to joining the Richmond Fed, Ethan worked as a research assistant for projects analyzing the effects of school vaccination laws and analyzing the employment effects of offshore wind development, as well interning for a home energy efficiency nonprofit.

Butler received his bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Oberlin College in 2022.
