Zhu Wang
Zhu Wang is vice president for research in financial and payments systems in the Research Department. His work has been published in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the RAND Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Dynamics, and other academic journals.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in June 2011, Wang worked as a senior economist in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He earned his doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago in 2004.
Wang's research interests include macroeconomics, industry dynamics and productivity, banking, payments, and financial systems.
