Our Research Focus

Financial Markets and Institutions

We study the behavior of banks and similar institutions in modern financial markets. In addition, we consider the role of government regulation in those markets. Our recent work has dealt with the interactions between bank supervisors and financial markets, and the causes of and responses to bank runs.
