Overview

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Maryland Housing Counselors Network, Inc. is hosting a workshop to inform Maryland housing counselors about recent updates to the Home Affordable Mortgage Program (HAMP). HAMP is a federal program which intends to assist homeowners at-risk of foreclosure to modify their loans. Representatives of FHA, Fannie Mae, NeighborWorks, and other organizations will be presenting information about the requirements and processes that will prevent home foreclosures and foreclosure-related mortgage fraud.
