Overview

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Branch, Wall Street Without Walls and Habitat for Humanity International have partnered for a workshop entitled, “Advanced Topics in Housing Finance: A Workshop for Habitat Affiliates.”  The workshop will explore a variety of financial tools that can leverage the investments Habitat affiliates have made in housing.  These tools can provide affiliates significant new capital opportunities yet preserve the close ties with homeowners and the communities we both serve.

Speakers will offer a practical assessment of proven financial tools, such as Habitat specific finance tools as well as newer financing mechanisms that can allow your affiliate to leverage your mortgage portfolios despite the current financial environment.  We will close our discussion by drafting next steps toward future financial strategies.
